Andy Ortmann / John Wiese - Recorder Out of Tune

$30.99

"Most recent collaboration betwixt Ortmann and Wiese, also Wiese's first exploration of analog synthesizers. Predominantly analog synthesizer source material, last track has some field recordings of floor scraping. Immaculately packaged, the O/W logo is cut through a 14 gauge steel plate as the cover, drawing by Ortmann is silk screened (silver over navy blue) on a fold over 12 X 24 jacket. Not to mention, it's pressed on lovely marbled clear blue vinyl. Why is this called Grux? The world may never know..."

OK, keep in mind that this is a collectors item. I wouldn't recommend this beauty as a casual purchase for many reasons, not the least of which would be the steel plate cover! Beyond that, I'm guessing that these have been in storage for some time as they have begun to rust a little bit (as pictured). Also, it's quite heavy and will require more postage than your average LP.

If these minor obstacles do not deter you, than you're in for a real treat. The music on this single sided collaborative LP is so unbelieveably good that you'll likely find yourself lugging this beast off your record shelf often. Check the audio samples for proof...
